About

My name is Sara Starling, I guarded from Sir Sanford Fleming Massage Therapy program in 2004. This past year I have added two GSP (German Short Hair Pointers) to my family.  After all the issues I had with my girls, I looked into get my certificate in K9 Massage Therapy. In March of 2014 I completed my training for K9 massage therapy from Royal Canadian Collage of Massage Therapy.

My Zoey

Zoey is now one, but when she was 6 months old she had a back injury. When it happened I was not sure what was wrong. She was crying and falling over whining having trouble walking.  When I brought her to the vet they did an assessment and found that she had pulled muscles in her back. They put her on muscle relaxers and a pain medication. Having back ground in massage I started treating her like I would any acute injury and helping her relax. She now loves being massaged and sits in front of me on the couch when she wants one.

Sadie is two and a half and a rehome, she is very nervous around new people and tends to hide or act skittish. Since I have been massage her she is more relaxed and we have created a bond.

My Sadie

Sadie is also very active and runs like the wind, she has very defined muscles in her legs. She can be sore after a day of running and hunting. I started massaging her and watched the changes in demeanor as she relaxed we worked out the tension in her legs.
